A NORTHERN HAWK OWL was seen by Shelley Steva in Clearwater County on February 6, two miles east of Shevlin along US 2.

Carol Parker called to report a female NORTHERN CARDINAL visiting her yard in Warroad, Roseau County ever since November 18. The bird has been sheltering under a nearby porch and eating from the feeder. Carol also reported seeing a PILEATED WOODPECKER in the area. Jeff Siverhus saw 30 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS in their crabapple trees on February 4. PINE SISKINS are also visiting their yard this week.

Larry Wilebski reported RUFFED GROUSE this week in Kittson County.

Thanks to Beau Shroyer, Beth and Jeff Siverhus, Carol Parker, Dennis Weisenborn, Diana Morkassel, Larry Wilebski, Maggie Anderson, Sandy Aubol, and Shelley Steva for their reports.
