I searched for the dove at the previously-mentioned site (Hyland Park
Preserve in Bloomington, Hennepin Co.) between 4:30 and 5:45 this evening
and I did NOT relocate it. That being said, there was quite a bit of bird
activity, with the highlights including a Field Sparrow, a Lincoln's
Sparrow, and an Orange-crowned Warbler as well as numerous Eastern Bluebirds
and the usual suspects. Some walkers mentioned seeing a "small hawk" just
before I arrived, which I assume was that Sharp-shinned Hawk.

It was good to be out in this fine weather in this fine state. Good birding!
