Brian,

Can you clarify what you mean by credit card registration?  Are you looking to use a pre-built system for conference registration, or use a payment processor and build the actual registration system?

If it's the latter, I've used Braintree successfully, though it was a bit on the pricey side.  My next project will be using Stripe.

Brian,

Years ago I implemented authorize.net's SIM in PHP - it was fairly
straightforward and their documentation made it a snap. Last time I
used the site (it was a donation portal for a nonprofit that I still
donate to), it was still live, so the solution had legs. My memory's a
bit fuzzy on the particulars, but I could run through the basics if it
would help.
