I went to check out the Acadian Flycatcher reported by Caleb A. yesterday. I did hear what I believe was the flycatcher in the exact spot described by Caleb. The bird was not seen but seemed to be hanging out in a stand of large Eastern Cottonwood trees. Airplane and highway noise didn't help the matter. Besides looking for the flycatcher I was impressed by this little nature preserve which I had never visited before. It was quite active in spite of visiting at mid-day.
