[Cross posting to Code People] Using Drupal? Inspired by last spring's DrupalCamp Twin Cities, we thought it would be useful and fun to begin organizing University Drupal users and establish a regular "Drupal users at the U" get-together to share ideas, troubleshoot, build stronger networks and make wonderfully dorky Drupal jokes. We have set up an initial meeting for discussing what we might want out of a more organized University of Minnesota Drupal community. How can we help each other be more effective Drupal users at any level? Whether you are a site builder or administrator, content manager, web server administrator, designer/themer or Drupal module developer, we'd love to have you join us to start the conversation: Tuesday, August 28th from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Mayo Building Room D330 (conference room) Please RSVP using our (Drupal!) form at http://www.saa.umn.edu/dug/first_meeting We have room for 20 in our scheduled room, so if more than that RSVP, we'll find a larger space. Feel free to bring your lunch - we thought the noon hour might be best for availability, but don't want to displace that important midday meal. We have also set up an e-mail list for Drupal users at the U: drupal-l. You can sign up at http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=DRUPAL-L. With any luck, this will become an active forum for Drupal ideas and questions within the University. Sincerely, Gabe Ormsby ([log in to unmask]) and Anjali Dotson Madeira ([log in to unmask]) P.S. If you can't make the meeting, but want to contribute your thoughts or ideas, please let one of us know or post on drupal-l (http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=DRUPAL-L). -- Gabe Ormsby Web Project Coordinator 612-625-6221 Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Administration, University of Minnesota System http://www.academic.umn.edu/system/
