"We are seeking data-science researchers for projects involving the study and analysis of large-scale social network and other forms of big-data. The research scientists would work with SOBACO (Social Media and Business Analytics Collaborative)  faculty on discovering and analyzing relationships between real-world, dynamic social networks and business outcomes. They will assist faculty in harnessing structured and unstructured data from APIs of major online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm and Amazon, as well as via web-crawling and parsing. They will have programming proficiency to develop applications using the APIs of major platforms."
