Lynda.com has a tutorial on Google Analytics. You do have to sign-up for a monthly subscription to view the course.

I agree that GA is a powerful and complex tool. I would be ecstatic if there were some (low/no cost) training made available to us!

Our college has switched from Urchin to GA recently. It's such a powerful and complex tool that I would think a short course would be helpful.
