The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Drupal web content management
system (CMS) was issued Monday, May 13. Issued to more than 800 vendors
in the University's purchasing database that fit the necessary criteria,
the RFP was based on a report prepared by Phase 2, the Drupal
consultants who worked with the University project planning team in
February and March. A summary of that report is available at
http://z.umn.edu/phase2report.

RFP responses will help the CMS project team choose a strategic partner
for the Drupal implementation. It covers:

  *

    Provision of an externally-hosted solution

  *

Required development for the University's Drupal platform

Responses are due by June 3 and we plan to choose a strategic partner by
the end of June. Additional information will be shared as it becomes
available.
