The University is launching a new portal at the end of 2014 as part of the Enterprise System Upgrade Program (ESUP). The vision is that this will be the single gateway for everyone at the U. Though we have “portal” in our project name, we are thinking about how to deliver something effective in a post-portal world!  We want to deliver an interaction hub that will be ready for future and we need help. We are thinking about topics that have been addressed recently by Web Standards including responsive design, accessibility and mobile.

The Enterprise Portal team received really exciting input via a series of Design Thinking workshops we just completed. At this event, members of the team will be sharing some of what we learned there, explaining our plans for prototyping this fall, and looking for input about what is critical to consider and take on as we begin our design work. We’re planning an interactive session that will hopefully leave all of with lots to consider and options for working together in the future.
