I spent the mid morning hours at the tip of Wisconsin Point at the light house at the far end of the rocky/cement break wall. After a an hour of chumming and viewing some distant flocks of Bonaparte's Gulls and Common Terns, I noticed all the flocks lifted up from the surface of Lake Superior and there I noticed a non-breeding adult Long-tailed Jaeger pursuing a Common Tern and then the jaeger harassed a Bonaparte's Gull. Time was about 10:15-30am. The Long-tailed Jaeger observations were all in the Minnesota side of the entry. Other Sightings: - 2 Parasitic Jaegers ( dark morph and light morph ) - 1 unidentified Jaeger Mike Hendrickson -- *Mike Hendrickson* *Mike Hendrickson Guiding <http://mikehendricksonguiding.com>* *Sax-Zim Bog <http://www.sax-zimbog.com>* ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
