Dear ISHPSSB Student Members,

We wanted to make sure everyone is aware of two events for students at
ISHPSSB and that the deadline for the Student Travel Support is a week
away— MARCH 21! More details about both will follow closer to the time. We
are looking forward to seeing you in Montreal this summer!

(1) Early Career Scholar Mentoring Lunch

Tuesday, 7 July, lunch break

This lunch meeting will give students a chance to meet with established
scholars to get advice and feedback on topics such as navigating the job
market, interdisciplinary publishing, and collaborations between biology
and its history and philosophy. More details about the available mentors
and format will follow as the conference approaches.

NOTE: The lunch is scheduled for the first hour of a 2-hour recess, so it
will not overlap with scheduled sessions.

(2) Graduate Student Member General Meeting

Wednesday, 8 July, lunch break

We will circulate a more detailed agenda closer to the time. The meeting is
an opportunity for student members to give feedback regarding the student
travel support funding and reimbursement process. Another important order
of business will be electing our 2015-2017 Graduate Representative. If
you are interested in nominating for the position, please email Lynn at
[log in to unmask]

NOTE: This meeting is again during a 2-hour lunch recess, so will not
overlap with scheduled sessions.

(3) Student Travel Support

The deadline for receipt of complete applications is March 21, 2015. This
deadline is firm: NO LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Please download the form from the website:

conference.

 (4) Accommodation: Share a room!

The Student Advisory Committee would like to remind everyone that you can

unofficial gathering through the ISHPSSB 2015 Bulletin Board:
