This is the Duluth Birding Report for October 8th, 2015 sponsored by the
Minnesota Ornithologists' Union.

Four SABINE'S GULLS were found by John Richardson on the 4th at the Park
Point dune bridge. John and others saw a RUDDY DUCK and two BLACK
SCOTERS at Park Point on the 6th, and he saw four WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS
and a BLACK SCOTER there on the 8th. Kim Eckert and others saw two SURF
SCOTERS on the 2nd at Stony Point and they were still present on the
4th.

Karl Bardon, Kaija Gahm, Alex Lamoreaux and others saw a TOWNSEND'S
SOLITAIRE and three BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS on the 5th at Hawk Ridge. They
also counted more than 4,500 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, a BOREAL CHICKADEE, and
the first ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK of the season on the 7th.
