The Hudsonian Godwit, American Golden-Plovers (72), Sanderlings (3), and several other shorebird species continued this morning at the north side of Lake Byllesby in Dakota County (around 44.521, -92.989). As mentioned, views are possible (with a scope of course) from the south side of the lake at the Goodhue County public access area on 23rd Ave Way. I also found it easy enough to just walk along the shoreline from the cemetery on 292nd street (NW end) around the point. Its a longer walk, but its dry right now. Many Canvasbacks and a group of Buffleheads were visible in the deeper west end from Lake Byllesby Regional Park. Annabelle shared some photos of the shorebirds: https://flic.kr/p/zfnGNg - Justin Watts Hennepin ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
