The GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at 44th Avenue East and Regent Street in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth was still present as of the 26th. Birders are welcome to look for the bird but the homeowner asks observers to stay on the sidewalk and not venture into his yard.

Larry and Jan Kraemer relocated the three PACIFIC LOONS at the Park Point Recreation Area on the 25th. John Richardson saw an adult GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL on the 24th at Canal Park. Peder Svingen saw THAYER'S GULLS, ICELAND GULL, GLAUCOUS GULL, and GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULLS on the 26th at the Superior Entry.

Lars Benson reports that a VARIED THRUSH has been seen at 1506 Wallace Avenue near the UMD campus, and that the homeowner is welcome to having birders look for the bird. The homeowner does say to use caution if her two dogs are in the yard.

The next scheduled update of this report will be on Thursday, December 3rd.
