Research Scientist, American Museum of Natural History

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences seeks a Ph.D. Research Scientist whose primary responsibility will be to manage the SX100 microprobe and FTIR labs. The successful applicant will oversee replacement of the existing SX100 with a Cameca SX5 Tactis LaB6 instrument in 2019. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain a vigorous research program in an area that complements existing strengths in EPS. The position also requires good organization, facility with analytical equipment, and ability to interact well with lab users.
