Hello all,

I just wanted to chime in and let you know that there are no current plans
to discontinue listservs at the UMN. It was quite recently decided to keep
them supported as google groups is still lacking some conveniences that
listserv provides, especially when it comes to managing external email
adresses (which are 99.9% of our subscribers). I don't expect listserv to
go away at UMN in the near future (famous last words..).

For combining the two lists in a single group, I can see advantages and
disadvantages and I am open to hear people's thoughts on this.

Best,
Anette
