WBI Weekly Digest
and other post-finals thoughts
Personal Note -
Was getting a job super hard for everyone this summer or just me? Seriously, I sent out...an embarrassing number of applications and I only just got a job last week! It’s rough out there, so don’t feel bad if you got a lot of rejections (or ghosted…), you didn’t end up with the job you wanted, or if you’re still searching!
Let me know if any of you want to vent about your job/lack of job/whatever. I’m always down to rage with ya. :)

...and so am I! But really, happy pride month everyone! I found this great resource with descriptions and dates for LGBTQ+ events this summer, so hopefully you can all get out to one or more of those and celebrate yourself and/or people you love!
The Twin Cities are holding a ton of events this summer. My first summer in the cities was kind of destroyed by covid, so my hope is to get out and do a lot these next few months! I’ve put the events lists that I’m looking at on our website, so check that out if you’re also looking for things to do.
Also, the newsletter will probably be coming more frequently soon, if only to keep you guys in the loop on what events we’re all attending so you can join us if you’d like!
If there’s an event you’re interested in going to and you’d like company, feel free to reach out to me (Sara) or anyone else on the WBI board and we’ll see if we can make it that day!
