Dear UV - confocal users

   I would be glad to hear some opinions on fiberoptic coupling of
UV-lasers to the scanning systems vs. direct coupling. Noran and Biorad
both claim that they have direct coupling due to the fact that the
UV-fiberoptics wear out with time, while Zeiss and Leica says that their
fibers remain stable. Could you comment on this?
