Dear Vitaly:
I'm not certain I understand your question. If you are asking whether the dual micro-lens system is better than LSCM for live cell confocal imaging; the spinning disk does provide advantages. Speed, cost, ease of use, less photo-toxicity, real time true color visualization are among them. If you are asking is it better than epi-fluorescence;  it is better for certain preps and experiments. Your experimental goals need to be considered when deciding what imaging modality to employ, and at what cost.
