  Get demo's (or download demo software) of the autmoated tracking by:

Improvision - Volocity
Compix  - SimplePCI
Intelligent Imaging Innovations - SlideBook

A Bitplane rep already mentioned their software.

The key is test it on YOUR data, since everyone's canned demo's work.

If the cells are high contrast and easily segmentable by thresholding from
background (i.e. fluorescence, not phase contrast, not DIC), you could also
use MetaMorph by doing Measure Objects with a stack (using a journal). Best
to keep it simple by having 1 cell in the field. MetaMorph also has various
manual tracking modes if you want lots of mouse clicking.

Dear Confocalists,

We are studying cell migration, as a result, I am interested  in any
suggestions on various motion tracking software solutions for the
analysis of cell movement on a time-lapse stack of images.
