Hey Billo,
 
I agree. I have certainly found vendors comments on this list useful. As
long as they're directed toward specific questions or criticisms I think
they should be allowed. Out and out advertisement of products should not
be tolerated; however, as I see it the VayTek message was in response to
a question that had been posed on the list and should be acceptable.
 
How do others feel?
I agree with all these responses!  The vendor participation has been
          in response to questions and as such is welcome.
