In all the drosophila GFP experiments did you devitellinize with methanol?
Did you ever try any experiments devitellinizing by hand in 1 or 2%
formaldehyde? (I hope not to have to do that.) We can image GFP in living
embryos but of course sometimes we would like a double or triple label
using antibodies and the anti-GFP antibodies we have tried do not work well.
