Lest we repeat the chaos regarding Current Contents summaries of Feb 10, we
should all start to organize this list better. I think this and virtually all
other topics can be dealt with here by making careful use of the subject line
of the postings. A Zeiss user subgroup could have postings with the following
subject lines:

Zeiss: UV laser glitch
Zeiss: Broken prism mount
Zeiss: Control sw update

If you're not a Zeiss user, you can just delete them unread. The same goes for
any other topic:

MRC600: Service from Biorad
MRC1000: Bla bla of the bla bla
Optical disks: Lost files & directories
Nuclear stains: Chromosome banding patterns

Oddly enough, many postings already have descriptive subject lines, so all we
have to do is establish an understanding amongst ourselves, and do so in such
an obvious way that newbies quickly catch on. We're halfway there already, so
this might even constitute a path of least resistance.
