Hi Scott,
I am aware of this software (3D DIAS) since it is right here on the
University of Iowa campus but I have not personally used it. I am under
the impression that it can be licensed. You might want to contact Dr.
Soll for more information. See:

Subject: 3D cell tracking software?

Search the CONFOCAL archive at
http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal

Would anybody be willing to recommend their favorite 3D cell-tracking
software
from either commercial or academic sources?

I have just hired on to run a confocal system for the Biocomplexity
Institute
in the Department of Physics at Indiana University. Several of the
projected
major users I will be working with have expressed an interest in
automating
the process of analyzing cell movements in their 3 dimensional time
course
data.

Within the department, we have ready access to a variety of operating
systems
and can potentially use software written for Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix,
or SGI.

Thanks for your input,

Scott Gens, PhD
