We are trying to see if we can convert TIFF files to FITS files
(recognised by IRAF-Image reduction and analysis facility) on a
Unix-based machine (Linux OS). Does anybody have a conversion utility
available on a command line basis for this purpose?
Does X-View support this conversion on a command line basis and if so how
does one implement this function?
Thanks,
Jitu
