Does anyone have a protocol for staining cells (isolated cardiomyocytes) with either JC-1 or Rhodamine 123 in order to measure the mitochondrial membrane potential. I am also thinking about using mitotrackers, can anyone recommend which one to use (with Rho123 or Jc-1).
