Dear All,

A national Firepersons strike begins in Britain tonight (Wed.). We have
been advised to cut out all research that utilises equipment that might pose
a fire hazard. Of course, we have lots of users who want to run the lasers
after 5:00 PM. My guess is that there may be a significant fire hazard from
the lasers. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Thanks, John.
