Hi Li,
I've seen good results with Hoechst 33258. This requires UV illumination.
If you have a CCD camera or photomultiplier tube, then DRAQ5 would probably
work. It emits in the far red so you need a device to "see" it. Both of
these dyes may alter normal cell proliferation.
