We have used the slide set made by applied precision to check filed
illumination. the data is described in the Cytometry paper. In our opinion
it is much better to use these plastic fluorescent slides than a
suspension of fluorescein in a well slide
bob

Barbara:

We supply a three slide set similar to what you describe below for
illumination calibration.

One slide for the lower DAPI like probes, one for the FITC,Rhod, wavelength
probes, and another for the higher wavelength probes including Cy5.

If you are interested, you can contact: [log in to unmask]

Set of Fluorescent Calibration Slides 52-503256-003 $60.00

Hey, Ray,

MME is in the process of putting together just such a slide set:
4 slides which have spectra similar to FITC, Rhodamine/Texas Red, Acridine
orange, and DAPI.

Is that the sort of thing you need?

Best regards,
Barbara Foster

"Why didn't they teach us that sooner?" ... probably because no one
thought to call MME about customized, on-site courses. Offered in all
areas of microscopy, sample prep, and image analysis, they make an immediate
impact on your productivity.
