Andrea,

We bought our 1024 just as Dell stopped making the PowerEdge 2200,
one of the few IBM-clones that usually works with OS-2 and the one
BioRad had been using. After trying some other models, we eventually
bought a PowerEdge 2300.

I think that these are still made and can be obtained with quite high
clock speeds although ours can only use 512 MB of RAM in OS-2.
