Thanks a lot, Roland. Seems like you have looked a bit closer into
the subject. Any particular preferences, recommendations (price,
speed, controller/driver integration)?

Switching/attenuating laser lines for a confocal scanner. Brimrose
has a nice pig-tailed (i.e. fibre-coupled) version for Melles Griot's
Ar and KrAr laser but their fast driver relies on an ISA board. Since
the ISA bus is probably going to phase out pretty soon, I'm looking
for more "modern" options.
