BABB is just 1/3 benzyl alcohol and 2/3 benzyl benzoate. To mount 
samples in it they must first be thoroughly dehydrated.  It clears very 
well, but it can cause some changes in tissue morphology.  Methyl 
salicylate is also worth trying.
