I've installed an OS/2 driver for EPSON Style Photo EX printer and it works
fine with Bio-Rad's LaserSharp.

Dear concerned Confocal Listserv members:

We (Bio-Rad) have never tried an Epson 740 color inkjet printer and can not
recommend any drivers which can be used.

However, the OS drivers which we have fully tested with the Epson Stylus
Color 800 can be found on the following webpage (Please note: these drivers
have also been found to work with the Epson 850 Stylus Color):

http://www.epson.de/support/download/#os2

Alternatively, you can also contact your local Bio-Rad After Sales Office
who will be able to provide you with these drivers.

We hope this helps,

Dino Sharma

Folks,

Just a thought. Network your confocal computer to some new cheap PC
with an ethernet card running Windows'95,98, or even a Mac (my
choice) and do your printing from the separate machine. No worry
about background printing slowing your system down and you could
probably automate the process giving you instant file backup at the
same time.

Sorry but my experience with OS/2 is that it was designed by alien
invaders. Looks good, but how many on this planet understand it?
