Media Cybernetics is seeking creative and experienced candidates for the 
position of Application Support Specialist; this individual will support 
the selling efforts for Media Cybernetics' Software products in the 
Americas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Life 
Sciences imaging and microscopy applications. Extensive knowledge of 
image acquisition, processing and visualization software is a must, 
experience with Media Cybernetics' software products is preferred.

The successful candidate will apply their expertise to pre- and 
post-sales support of the customer base and will serve as a key part of 
a close-knit, dynamic sales group. Essential qualifications include good 
communication, training and presentation skills in addition to life 
sciences domain knowledge. The position necessitates travel within the 
Americas.

Knowledge
* Extensive background in Life Sciences imaging applications
* Thorough understanding of imaging software: acquisition, processing 
and visualization
* Practical knowledge of imaging optics, ancillary hardware and CCD cameras

Skills
* Confident oral presentation skills
* Strong interpersonal and customer management skills
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Teaching experience is favored

Attitudes
* Team-oriented outlook
* Willingness to travel
* Enthusiasm for customer support and preservation of customer loyalty
