besides the Mattek dishes mentioned before, you can make your own (see
http://www.science.mcmaster.ca/biochem/faculty/truant/protocols.htm).
I had good luck with using a 1/4" or 1/2" thick piece of plexiglass, with a 20mm
hole drilled in the center, with coverslip glued over the hole using GE Silicone
II sealant (most hardware stores carry that). The sealant cures in about a
day, but remains flexible, so when the coverslip breaks, it is easy to scrape it
off witjh a razor blade and glue a new one on.
