We've been using Cy3 coverslipped with 1% DABCO (Sigma D-2522) in PBS
buffered 90% glycerin.  10% Laser power, 60X obj, 3x zoom and a z-series
with Kalman averaging 2 frames at F1 slow scan.  It seems to last quite a
while.
