EXPLORING JUSTICE SESSION
THIS THURSDAY!

Interested in criminal
law? Restorative justice? Public policy? Then consider volunteering with the
Exploring Justice project next year! Through this ongoing partnership between
MJF and the Minnesota Department of Corrections, law students have the
opportunity to meet weekly with incarcerated individuals in local prisons to
discuss what justice truly is. In small discussion circles, offenders and law
students listen to guest speakers (prosecutors, victims, judges, etc.) talk
about their views of justice. The group will then discuss the speech. Offenders
reflect on their own crimes and assigned punishments to come to terms with what
justice

Human Trafficking Part II Sponsored by PILSA and Amnesty International Join us Wednesday, April 8 at 12:15pm in Room 40 for a talk with an international panel of human trafficking experts. Lunch will be provided. Four experts in human trafficking from around the globe and a member of the St. Paul Police Task Force on Human Trafficking will speak: Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, Pakistan Mr. Chaudhry is a Senior Superintendent of Police from the Capital City District of Lahore, Pakistan, and serves as Chief of Discipline and Inspection in Lahore.
