While we're on the topic of CD writing:
We've attempted to write both mac and PC files (of many descriptions) to CD
using ISO 9660 - dos 8+3 file names, Easy Cd Pro, a Dynatek CDM 400 and a
Pentium 200MMX. The network files are apparently written to the hard drive
before the actual CD write occurs. At this point the application specific ,
Mac resource fork(Quark Xpress in this case) seems to be stripped away and the
file can no longer be opened in its original Mac application.
Is it in fact possible to write files to Cds using a PC platform and still
retain their original, Mac application-specific characteristics.

                Regards,
                        Ken
