The TriMScope is based on a patented beamsplitter design that allows an
ultrafast pulsed IR laser beam to be split into 64 beamlets arranged in a
linear array. These are scanned simultaneously in the focal plane
resulting in 64 times higher image rates than those available with the
single beam scanning system. This offers the promise of imaging
physiological processes at fast speeds (1kHz) in live specimens,
non-destructively, deep into the sample, and with high spatial and signal
