Interested Grain Marketers,

The Minnesota Master Marketer Program is returning for an eighth year in
2006! This six-day educational program is designed to develop and improve
marketing skills for grain producers and ag professionals. The 2006 Master
Marketer Program, sponsored by the Center for Farm Financial Management,
will be held at the Holiday Inn behind Cabela's in Owatonna, MN on January
18-19, February 1-2, and February 15-16.

Since 1999, over 450 growers and ag professionals have participated in 12
different Master Marketer Programs. This program aims to improve marketing
skills, increase farm revenues, and encourage the development of local
marketing clubs.

Our line-up of speakers is strong and they will cover a broad range of
topics including futures and options strategies, fundamental and technical
price analysis, crop insurance, pre and post harvest marketing plans,
weather trends, and marketing clubs. Speakers returning from last year
include one of our nation's premier experts on grain markets, Dr. Robert
Wisner of Iowa State University, noted technical analyst Alan Brugler,
top-notch meteorologist Dr. Elwynn Taylor of Iowa State University, and
climatologist Dr. Mark Seeley of the University of Minnesota

The registration fee for the six-day session is $350 per person, and
includes lunches and handouts. Spouses can attend for an additional $200.
Sign-up is limited to 75 people. We expect a strong turnout, so act quickly
to save your spot in the program.

To register, contact the Center for Farm Financial Management at
800-234-1111 or 612-625-1964. A copy of the brochure is attached. It is
also available on-line at http://www.cffm.umn.edu/workshops/MMMP200685.pdf .
If you have any questions about the Minnesota Master Marketer Program, you
can call me directly at 651-308-8224.

I hope to see you in Owatonna for another great program!
