This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, June 4th 2009.

On May 30th, a BROWN PELICAN was reported from Lake Lahomme Dieu in
Douglas County but it may have left the area. It was in with a group of
American White Pelicans roosting on the sand bar on Government Point.

Also on the 30th, a SNOWY PLOVER was on the west side of Parker Pool at
Agassiz NWR in Marshall County. This is beyond the locked gates,
requiring a walk of about a mile.

A WORM-EATING WARBLER is still being seen at Veteran's Park. Check along
the bike trail on the east side of the park where it approaches a series
of houses.

COMMON MOORHENS are being seen at Sherburne NWR on the Prairie Wildlife
Auto Tour Road. Most observations have been between the Big Bluestem and
Nelson pools.

Two singing KENTUCKY WARBLERS were at Williams Nature Center in Blue
Earth County on the 3rd.

The next scheduled update of this tape is Thursday, June 11th 2009.
