Today at around 1:30 pm I spotted a number of shorebirds at Miller Lake
(Hwy 67 and 290th). Of special interest were the single Black-necked stilt
and 8 American Avocets. Also present were 25 Wilson's Phalaropes, Least
Sandpipers, Semi-palmated Plovers, 3 Dunlins, Killdeer, Stilt Sandpiper,
Ruddy Ducks, Blue-winged Teal, N. Shovelers, Mallards, Double-crested
Cormorant, Canada Geese, and Bufflehead.
