Hi Folks,

     Thanks for the many suggestions about
differential staining of DNA vs RNA.  I forgot
to mention that we were specifically trying to
do this in live cells (actually in embryos), but
many of your comments helped us understand
which dyes might work and which would not
work for this application.
      We'll post our results back to the list if
we get this working.
