Hi,
I got this message back from Dr. Hubert:
March 20, 2000
Barbara,
He can get uv fibers from Oriel- they have core diameters of 600 micron and
1mmm available (part #s 77620 and 77621 ). For the laser it is better to use
low numerical aperture quartz fiber rather than the higher numerical
aperture liquid fiber. Furthermore the smallest liquid fiber has a 3 mm
diameter which is peobably too big for his application. Please ask him to
call me directly if he has any further questions (905-812-4308).
regards
Manny
Daniel,
I thnk that you can also use liquid light guides for this purpose. Contact
Manny Hubert at EFOS: Manny Hubert <[log in to unmask]>. He's the guy I
rely on for this type of stuff.
Best regards,
Barbara Foster
