Microscopy Product Manager

Omega Optical, founded in 1969, is a designer and manufacturer of thin
film optical interference filters used world-wide for laboratory and
scientific equipment.  Omega is also one of the two major filter
manufacturers supplying the microscopy industry.

The Microscopy Product Manager is responsible for any and all activities
which help further the company's sales of fluorescence microscopy
products.  These activities include:

1.Technical sales and sales support: Technical sales and assistance to
sales force regarding microscopy applications.
2.Marketing: Marketing activities related to fluorescence microscopy
products.
3.Product & Market Development: Development activities related to new
microscopy products, applications, and developing markets.

We are seeking an individual who is excited about working in the
microscopy industry with all the varied participants including
scientists, microscope manufacturers, microscope dealers, and reagent
companies.  The work involves management and marketing of Omega
Optical's extensive stock microscopy product line.  It may also involve
working with instrument manufacturers building fluorescence-based
instruments.  Experience in microscopy, fluorescence, life sciences and
instrumentation is essential.

Experience: 3-5 years experience in related microscopy and sales.
