Do you mean that the turret descends? If so, then I can
report a similar problem that we had with an Axiovert 135, which is similar
to the axiovert 100. One other question -- if you lower the objectives, do
they "crash" downward at a certain point?

If this is the case then I can describe what I did to fix it -- it may  of
interest to any listmembers who have a axiovert based confocal.
