Subject: Tunable semiconductor laser for visible or near IR wavelengths

Search the CONFOCAL archive at

Hi,

I am student at Laval universty, Qc, Canada, and I am developping a tunable
semiconductor laser.

I am looking for applications in biology in general for a tunable
semiconductor laser in visible wavelength, with approximate characteristics:

tunability range: from 400 to 800 nm (near IR also available)
power: from 1 to 100 mW
repetition rate : from 1KHZ to 200MHz

That laser can be very fast tuned step-by-step or continuously and has the
advantage to be very robust.

If you know application for such kind of laser, please inform me.

Thank you,

Geoffroy
