Hello, everyone:

For those of you who replied to my earlier advertisement, we were delayed
in selling it, but I think we're ready to sell it now. Previously
interested (if still interested) and newly interested persons, please send
an email to me or call (614)292-9716.

We have a Meridian ACAS 570C confocal laser scanning microscope that we no
longer need and would like to sell. It is equipped with a moving stage, 2
PMTs, and a Coherent Innova 90-5 laser, complete with UV optics. Other
components include:

- Olympus IMT-2 inverted phase contrast microscope with 10X, 20X, 40X and
100X-oil immersion objectives

- a separate data analysis work station (DASY) allows for data analysis
while you are scanning with the ACAS

- all laser steering mirrors were replaced in Nov., 2000 (and has had
limited use since)

- wide selection of emission filters and dichroics (most of the commonly
used ones, plus others)

- the ACAS computer was upgraded to a dual 233 MHz Pentium; the DASY has
the original 100 MHz 486DX4 PC

- optional Eppendorf micromanipulator and microinjector

- heated stage

- the next-to-latest version of the ACAS software (the changes in the final
revision were inconsequential for our installation )

- the ACAS and DASY each come with a color inkjet printer

- the ACAS is housed in a custom workstation (looks nice)

- original and latest versions of operations manual

- even though Meridian no longer exists as a company, service and parts
are available through SerCon, Inc.; also, we purchased backups for many of
the proprietary controller boards for the PCs.

Interested parties may call or email me at the address below. Will
consider any reasonable offer.

Regards,
Rick Meister
