Dear all,

just as a remark: The Zeiss LSM 3.2 Software allows since the release
last year in autumn the recording and storing of datasets near to the
WinXP limit of 2 GB (1.95 GB if you manage to set up the stack or the
series exactly to that amount). However, one should have at least 3 GB
RAM installed to run these kind of big image data smoothly.
So there is a way to overcome this maximum of half Windows memory limit
for images.
