I believe DPX will do. I used it with Cy3 which survived dehydration. But
you might need to test other fluorochromes if you want to use it.

Dear list members,

which are the embedding media with highest refractive index (r.i. 1.48 to
1.52) but still compatible with standard fluorochromes / fluorescent
proteins?

Ideally, the refractive index would match the r.i .of immersion oil (e.g.
ZEISS Immersol 518 F: r.i. 1.518).

Any reference welcome.
